Developed a comprehensive web application to digitize and automate hostel operations for the Samast Kutch Kadwa Patidar Foundation, streamlining processes like student registration, fee payments, inventory tracking, and staff management, while providing daily reports on key metrics.

I built a full-scale hostel management system for Damubhai Vidhyarthi Bhavan to replace their entirely manual workflow with a centralized digital platform. The application brings together student records, fees, inventory, and daily operations into one place, making it much easier for trustees and staff to manage everything without paperwork or scattered records.
The idea was simple. Move away from registers and paperwork and create a system that actually reflects how the hostel operates on a daily basis. The goal was not to overcomplicate things, but to build something practical, reliable, and easy for everyone to use.
The main challenge was that everything was being handled manually. From student registration to fee tracking and inventory, there was no central place to manage or track data.
- Data was difficult to maintain and retrieve
- Fee tracking required manual effort and cross checking
- No real time visibility into inventory or daily operations
- Different departments worked in isolation
- No quick way to see daily reports or key metrics
To solve this, I developed a modular web application that connects all these operations into a single system. Each feature was designed around their existing workflow, so the transition felt natural rather than overwhelming.

I focused heavily on usability while building this. The dashboard provides quick insights, forms are simple to use, and everything is structured in a way that reduces the learning curve for staff.
The impact was immediate once the system went live. Tasks became faster, records became easier to manage, and the overall workflow became much more organized. It was great to see how quickly the team adapted and started relying on the system for their daily operations.
